MK244

The MK244 Armor-Piercing Discarding Sabot ELC (Enhanced Lethality Cartridge) is the standard ammunition used with the Mk-15 Phalanx Close-in Weapon System. The ammunition features 40% less dispersion and a 48% heavier penetrator compared to the previous MK149 ammunition, which makes it more effective against fast attack boats, anti-ship missiles, helicopters, small watercraft and low flying planes.

M940

The M940 Multipurpose Tracer-Self Destruct (MPT-SD) cartridge combines a light armor and high-explosive capability into a single round for improved lethality on all targets, making it the optimum single round solution for ground-to-air and ground-to-ground applications. It also features a bright red tracer for increased visibility.
